Loving words...

I have always loved words - how they look on the page, to the shape of letters and numbers. I have real favourites of course - the letter V as its my initial but also because its shape has an energy and direction to it. It doesnt sit still on the page. I have always had a massive soft spot for Q's and X'. Just think of XerXes and Quebec... words to dream on. There is nothing quite like the feel of a word rolling about your mouth and tongue... from the intimacies and deep sensuality of words of love: kiss, devour, cherish, and caress to the clean, clear headed words of logics and mathematics: equations, cantilever, activate, mechanical. All have a different personality and colour and life to them, and not just for their meaning, but how they look on the page too.
